The night tour starts from piazza Duomo. The night tour is different from the morning one. After the introduction to the symbols of the city of Catania, the walk takes travellers into the hidden underground lava tunnel.

Few food tastings take place in the area of piazza Mazzini before exploring the Civita district to admire some graffitis and taste the most traditional Catanese night food: horse meat and cipollata (bacon and spring onion). The area of Civita is not popular among the tourists coz you don’t find major historical attractions, however, it’s the best area downtown to see and understand real life in Catania.

Guides discuss their daily city life and its controversial issues. An interesting moment of the night tour is represented by the graffiti of Largo XVII Agosto. The tour ends comfortably sitting in the elegant square of the opera house Teatro Massimo where foodies will enjoy a delicious granita with brioche.
