FOSS will also be the protagonist of two events within the Bellini International Context, the great Bellini event organized by the Sicilian Region from 16 to 24 September.

It starts on Friday 16 September with the preparation of the Cavalleria Rusticana, in collaboration with the Massimo Bellini Theater in Catania, and the proposal of a program entirely dedicated to three great Sicilians – Bellini, Pirandello and Verga – and continues on Saturday 24 September with Bellini & Friends.

The great exhibition dedicated to Vincenzo Bellini, strongly desired by the Governor Nello Musumeci and by the regional councilor for tourism Manlio Messina, is one of the strengths on which the Sicilian Region bases its peculiar cultural and artistic identity, which it finds in the universal language of music an effective means to conquer the global audience.

Therefore, Foss will be the protagonist in Catania on Friday 16 September at 9 pm at Villa Bellini with the program “Sicily: suggestions from Bellini, Pirandello, Verga”, which finds its fulcrum in the setting up of Mascagni’s Cavalleria Rusticana, created in collaboration with the Massimo Vincenzo Bellini Theater in Catania. The second production, “Bellini & Friends”, staged in Catania, also at Villa Bellini on September 24 at 9pm, is Foss’s homage to the swan from Catania and his contemporaries.
