Confirmed the 24th edition of the Cous Cous Fest, which will take place in San Vito Lo Capo from 17 to 26 September.

San Vito Lo Capo, the spearhead of the province of Trapani, is the perfect blend of what is most beautiful in the Mediterranean, the perfect synthesis of colors, scents, views and unforgettable sceneries.

The San Vito area has an exceptional food and wine heritage which has its main protagonist in cous cous, the traditional dish that testifies to the coexistence of the Maghrebi culture with that of Sicily.

This year the couscous championships, the Italian and the international one, will be hosted inside the Garden of the Sanctuary, the fascinating and suggestive Mediterranean garden behind the Sanctuary of San Vito Lo Capo which will be accessed by showing the Green Pass and a valid identity document (in compliance with Legislative Decree 23/07/2021).

The stage set up inside the Garden will also host cooking shows with great chefs and moments of in-depth study and entertainment with artists, guests and friends of the Fest.

Leading the appointments on stage will be the two “couples” formed by chef Andy Luotto and Sara Castellana, face of Quelli che il calcio and Rai Sport and the one composed by the Italian conductor Federico Quaranta and the journalist Marzia Roncacci.

There are two cous tasting points: one on the beach, the Casa del cous cous dal mondo which will offer international recipes and one inside the Garden of the Sanctuary, the Casa del cous cous in San Vito Lo Capo, with seating and access with Green pass.

The tasting ticket costs € 10 and includes a portion of cous cous of your choice among the proposed variants, a glass of wine or a soft drink and a coffee.

Instead, the exhibition village will be set up on the promenade of San Vito Lo Capo, which will showcase Sicilian handicraft and food and wine products.
