The sixteenth edition of SalinaDocFest, the narrative documentary festival, founded and directed by Giovanna Taviani which will land on the island of Salina next weekend, from 15 to 18 September, this year is enriched with a tasty special section and thanks to the precious partnership with the Department of Productive Activities of the Sicilian region becomes a prestigious showcase for the story of the territory and its food and agricultural productions.

Capers, wines, malvasia, oil, preserves and many other Aeolian excellences will be told through a documentary, a special show and many tastings and meetings thanks to a partnership with the regional department of productive activities.

Great expectations also for the show dedicated to the island’s excellences: an artistic performance by Donpasta chef, food theorist and director, in which landscapes, products, processes and crops of the island will be told cooking to the rhythm of music through images of the documentary ‘Don Pasta alle Aeolie. First chapter: Salina’.
