The Sea and Taste Festival | has come to life IMAGO Siciliae, the first regional event to promote the historical and cultural identity of four Sicilian FLAGs through culinary traditions based on local fish.

A circuit of gastronomic, cultural, theatrical events and shows that have the sea as a reference, created with the aim of integrating the cultural and artistic heritage of the four Sicilian territories – including 39 municipalities – to promote blue tourism and the artisanal fishing systems of the marines locals. 41 events organized until October 2022. Wide and rich program which includes, among other things, theatrical performances, concerts, festivals and tastings of typical local products.

“The Flag the Sun and the Blue – underlines the director Giovanni Borsellino – intends to contribute to the tourist revitalization of the stretch of coast between Campobello di Mazara and Porto Empedocle, through the enhancement of the extraordinary natural and historical resources and landscape in combination with the culinary traditions linked to the local fish. Therefore, in each of the 10 Municipalities of the Flag, we will offer, during the summer, moments of entertainment and tastings to expand the cultural offer of the area for tourists and visitors “.

“The Festival of the Sea and Taste is an important opportunity to promote the territory of the Flag Golfo di Termini Imerese – adds the director Giuseppe Sanfilippo – this will contribute to the creation of the La Costa d’Oro Product Club , a territorial brand created by the Gulf of Termini Imerese Flag to characterize and promote the 10 Municipalities that are members of the Flag – from Bagheria to Pollina – for the joint tourism promotion of a territory that has so much to offer for cultural and tourist purposes “.
