After three years of forced stop, due to an epidemiological emergency, the Ramacca Artichoke Festival is back, perhaps the most important festival in Italy, dedicated to this vegetable.

The festival, which as always will take place in Ramacca (CT), a gentle city, on a weekend in April — 14-15-16 April 2023 — and then on the following bank holiday 22-23-24-25 April 2023 — with this edition will reach the 31st year milestone, a goal of which the Municipality of Ramacca can be truly proud, also because it has managed, in this long span of time, to create an event that alone has represented and still represents an extraordinary example of productive specialization.

Scents, flavours, colours, traditions will inundate Ramacca, who, by transforming a product that was once limited to local consumption, such as the artichoke, has managed to shape, year after year… success after success, an appointment that celebrates a product of the earth as an example and emblem of excellence.

Over the years this kermesse has been enriched with contents becoming an event of national importance.

As always, a rich program of events will welcome you in Ramacca: street performances, folk parades, parades of sharpshooters, itinerant flag-wavers, Militello drums, parade of Sicilian carts, period costumes, musical bands, car and motorcycle rallies and much more even more…….

The even more orderly and usable route awaits you for a walk full of flavors with all the typical local products. Unmissable are the stands where you can buy the famous Ramacchese Violet.

The Tasting Area returns, with the extraordinary participation of Michelin-starred Chefs who will create delicious artichoke-based menus for lunch and dinner during the days of the Festival.
