We will leave the roads to venture off-road, first through chestnut woods and puma cola apple orchards, the typical apple variety of Etna.
We will arrive in one of the most sensational places on Mount Etna: the Valle del Bove with its rock formations and its lava spiers. Next destination is another naturalistic wonder: the Bottoniera dei Sartorius, with its extinct craters, surrounded by woods of very white birch trees. Intense emotions, far away from the crowd, incredibly close to all your desires. To discover nature and love it even more.

Program

I Leg : Pick up directly at your hotel or at the agreed meeting point. On board the off-road vehicles we will undertake an off-road volcanic path to reach the most famous place of our Volcano: La Valle del Bove. Here our geological and naturalistic guides give an initial explanation of the volcanic system of Etna.

Stage II : Continue towards the Bottoniera dei Monti Sartorius. The route is of particular interest both from a geological and botanical point of view. It will be possible to admire the imposing 1865 flow that gave rise to the mountains with its seven “eruptive cones” and stop inside the suggestive birch forest. The landscape will be breathtaking over the entire Ionian coast.

Stage III : after a short stop in a refuge / chalet you can enter the secrets hidden by the volcano, we will visit a Lava Flow Tunnel to discover the geological phenomenon that occurs as a result of the incandescent flow.
