The harvest between harvesting, pressing, tasting of the must, Sicilian specialties and wine tasting
Buy now »
You will experience the harvest in a unique way like a big party: trying to harvest the grapes first hand, experimenting with destemming, pressing and tasting the fresh must.
This beautiful journey will take you to learn about the attentions of the winemakers and explore the microclimate of these hills.
Walking among the rows of the Federico II vineyard, picking the grapes in the appropriate wicker baskets, detaching the grapes from the bunches and pressing them in the small press will allow you to experience firsthand this engaging experience which culminates in the tasting of organic grape juice.
Stop in the atrium of the baglio to learn about some of the tools of peasant life, arriving in the winemaking area of the cellar to discover all the secrets of maceration and fermentation of musts. Passing through the bottling area, the red wine refinement room between barrels and barriques.
On the veranda overlooking the garden or in the tasting room of the cellar, a tasty platter with five Sicilian specialties will be waiting for you, all enriched by the tasting of two wines that denote the strong link with the territory: a versatile, fresh and savory white typical of the hilly area and a characterful red with a fruity bouquet.
The organic farm puts all the green spaces at your disposal: the vast lawn, the avenue of centuries-old olive trees, the organic citrus grove, the animal area.
