Nobody would think that a poor and common material such as paper, with skillful processing, can become an object of art.

This material, called papier-mâché, which was used a lot in the Baroque period for ephemeral apparatuses or for the simulacra to be processioned, today becomes the protagonist of an interesting didactic laboratory that allows you to manipulate and create using uncommon materiality and plasticity.

An indispensable element, together with paper and water, is flour, which makes the material to be processed sticky.

The creative path involves the design of a decorative element drawn from an Art Nouveau façade, then, in the laboratory, with the guidance of a papier-mâché artist, we proceed to shape the material, and thus create original artifacts, freeing the imagination and creativity.
