The first metropolitan market in Catania inside a former church from the 1600s

Piazza Scammacca is the first metropolitan market in Catania.
An indoor square that rises inside a former church from the 1600s, today a container of 4 monothematic catering formats, a modern pastry shop, a cocktail bar and a theater hall: a space of contamination to revitalize a critical area of the city . In fact, it was born as an urban redevelopment project conceived by a group of young people from Catania.
Piazza Scammacca lends itself to the creation of a series of formats and experiences, it is aimed at a tourist target interested in appreciating a contamination between raw materials of the Sicilian territory and international gastronomic culture.
